The power supply unit (PSU) has two adjustable outputs that each provide DC voltage up to 30V and current up to 3 amp. A third output provides an adjustable voltage from 2.2V to 5.2VDC voltage and up to 1 amp current, and a fourth output supplies adjustable voltage from 8V to 15VDC and up to 1 amp current. Controls on the unit's front panel allow for fine and coarse adjustment of the voltage and current output of the two 0 to 30V outputs. LED screens show voltage and current readings for two outputs simultaneously, and the displays are readable in low light. The outputs can operate independently, and the two 0 to 30V outputs can be connected in series to supply more voltage or in parallel to supply more current. A power cord with a three-prong plug is included for connecting the PSU to a grounded outlet, and test leads are included for testing applications. A built-in cooling fan helps prevent overheating, and the fan automatically switches to a slower speed to produce less noise in low- or no-load conditions. Overload protection, reverse polarity protection, and an output on/off switch help prevent damage to the PSU and the device under test.
